The Markham City Open is a traditional Karate and Kobudo tournament held in the City of Markham as a venue for recreational athletes to come together and compete. Funds raised for the event are donated to the team for travel expenses.

Held the second Sunday of every November, athletes from as far as Albany, New York and at all level of experiences, challenge themselves in a positive and growth mindset atmosphere.

We have been working closely with teams from southern Ontario and northern New York state for a growth in attendance for 2018. This year, we need the help of the community to train referees and volunteers to run a successful event.
